I installed your theme on localwp, which is a local server to run WP. I wonder if I can use the theme in a few weeks on hotgator or if the theme only allows one installation?

If our monitoring system detects 2 websites with the same license, one of them (which doesn’t belong to our buyer) will go offline via the hosting provider and domain registrar. But you can use many installations on the local machines.
