I'm able to see the products in the Shop page, but no category filter available in Shop page. How to add filter?

Also, How to add a separate Page with Only Categories?

There is Sorting option available. I would like to know ,

1. how to enable a filter dropdown for categories for these products, so that only products in those categories are visible.

2. how to populate categories in a separate /categories page I have created newly.

Is there a short code for showing all categories on a page? How to add these shortcodes?
